ABOUT DORIFAB MOTORSPORT

BUILT TO SOLVE PROBLEMS.

Dorifab is a Melbourne-based engineering, fabrication and motorsport business born from a thirst for understanding how things work—and a wallet that suggested learning to do it the hard way.

01 / WHY

THE EXPERIENCE BEHIND DORIFAB

EVERY DETAIL HAS A JOB.

Around a decade of hands-on experience, from professional competition trucks and drift cars to running a custom workshop, sits behind Dorifab today. The focus is on solving problems, making useful things and building cars with a purpose beyond looking good parked up.

Every project starts with the same questions: what does it need to do, what’s stopping it, and how can it work better? From a single bracket to a complete build, “she’ll be right” isn’t much of an engineering brief.

HOW WE THINK

FUNCTION FIRST.

Three practical principles guide the decisions, from the first conversation to the finished assembly.

01

SOLVE THE PROBLEM

Define the intended use, operating conditions and constraints before choosing the solution.

02

THINK IN SYSTEMS

Consider how the component affects heat, loads, wiring, clearance and the surrounding hardware.

03

BUILD IT TO BE USED

Plan for installation, adjustment and maintenance so the finished work is practical to live with.

WHAT WE BUILD

ONE CAR. MULTIPLE DISCIPLINES.

Engineering, fabrication, engine building and electrical systems each have a role. Planning them together helps the finished vehicle work as a whole.

WHERE DORIFAB IS HEADING

THE LONG GAME.

The long-term ambition is to take Dorifab onto the grid professionally and help young motorsport enthusiasts get their start. Talent and curiosity deserve a chance—even when the budget hasn’t caught up yet.
